SENTRY HIGH-FLOW STORED-PRESSURE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
SENTRY High-Flow, Stored-Pressure Fire Extinguishers are designed specifically for commercial, compliance markets. This portable fire extinguisher provides cost-effective, high performing fire suppression to meet the requirements of NFPA 10 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers.
Available in 10-pound and 20-pound models with standard or corrosion resistant coatings, the high-flow, stored-pressure fire extinguishers are designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 10 (Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers) Section 5.5.1.1 for pressurized flammable liquids and pressurized gas fires.
The quick discharge rate enables the dry chemical agent to reach fires faster, providing increased firefighting capability as compared to a standard fire extinguisher.
Applications include propane filling and storage locations, gas/fuel stations, construction sites, maintenance facilities, hazardous material cabinets, small paint booths, marinas, salvage/recycling centers and warehouse/storage facilities.
SENTRY extinguishers are made to rigorous standards of quality and craftsmanship. They come with a six-year limited warranty from date of delivery and are sold and serviced through an international network of distributors in every state and most countries.
SENTRY CORROSION RESISTANT DRY CHEMICAL EXTINGUISHERS
SENTRY industrial dry chemical extinguishers are designed for protection of light, ordinary, and extra high hazards. These compact and portable extinguishers meet the needs for industrial fire protection and are built to survive the corrosive environments found in the mining and chemical industry or in marine environments.
In addition to their use in warehouses, offices, and auto repair shops, SENTRY industrial dry chemical extinguishers are ideally suited for use in seaside condominiums and areas where chemicals, paint, and welding are present.
SENTRY CARBON DIOXIDE EXTINGUISHERS
Every year, a variety of incidents leads to fires that costs businesses their critical assets. SENTRY carbon dioxide extinguishers provide the power to respond quickly and effectively by design to protect against Class B (flammable liquids and gases) and Class C (energized electrical equipment) fires. These extinguishers are well suited for indoor use in furnace rooms, printing presses, pump rooms, electrical power panels, and laboratories where winds and drafts do not affect discharge.
SENTRY CO2 extinguishers are available in one-piece, powder-coated steel or lightweight aluminum shells and in capacities ranging from 5 lb (2.27 kg) to 20 lb (9.07 kg). The steel shell’s fluted base design resists corrosion for a longer service life. These extinguishers may be used indoors where winds and drafts do not affect discharge or where a clean extinguishing agent is required. The non-corrosive, non-conductive, clean extinguishing agent leaves no residue to clean up. Caution is advised in small, enclosed spaces as CO2 is a clear gas which cools and displaces oxygen.
SENTRY WATER EXTINGUISHERS
As with other stored pressure fire extinguishers in the SENTRY line, SENTRY Water Extinguishers are designed to extinguish Class A hazards only. Class A hazards such as wood, cloth, trash, and other materials that leave an ash are often found in office environments and industrial locations, as well as warehouse and oxidizing chemical storage areas.
In section 5.5.7, NFPA-10 mandates the use of water-type extinguishers only in areas containing oxidizers, such as pool chemicals.
With an ample 2.5 gal (9.5 L) capacity, these extinguishers are made to the same standards as the rest of the SENTRY line. Butt-welded stainless steel shell construction assures long service life, while stainless steel, brass, and aluminum alloy components help eliminate corrosion.
